I was talking to The Steve the other day, about how odd it is that I get all excited when I see a limousine riding around. I think my excitement is silly because I, normal everyday nothing special Sabrina, have been in a limo more times than I can count. I’ve been escorted to proms, Broadway plays, weddings, funerals… heck, I’ve even taken a limo to my own 13th birthday party and once I got a ride to preschool in one (Rodney Dangerfield’s limo, nonetheless). And still, after all those times, of normal me in pretty limos, I still see a limo in town and immediately think “ooooo I wonder who’s in there… I wonder where they’re going… I bet it’s someone famous.” And, even when I know there’s no way I can see in the tinted windows, I still try. Its all very silly considering the fact that chances are, the person in the limo, is just as normal as I am. With either money to spend, or like me, the right connections.
Another subject: I have to bake a dessert tonight. But I’m torn. Should I make Lemon Cake with Raspberry Mousse Frosting or Peanut Butter Silk Cake?

omg go with the lemon cake. I’m feeling that today. of course I won’t be there so it doesn’t matter. i love your cake book in the pic.
and limo connections are nice to have. any time I go to the airport, I get a limo – because now my dad drives them. or I get one from Rollo. and my whole life until I got married, I got free flights on United, so I got first class. do you know how much I ache for that perk back??? Yeah. connections are good.

I also vote for the lemon cake. It sounds wonderful. I’m making a lemon cake for class this week and it smells divine! Unfortunatley I won’t be able to taste it until Thursday.

I have to be different and say go w/ the peanut butter silk.

Well, I had to buy the ingredients on my lunch break, and the winner was definitely the lemon cake. I’ll let you all know how it turns out. Sorry, Trish, but I’m sure I’ll try the peanut butter silk soon…

Oh man. I slept right through helping pick out a cake flavor. Such important decisions should only be offered during my awake hours. I would have voted lemon based on sampling Kelli’s cake this week anyway. I hope yours turns out as good as hers did.

That birthday party limo ride (it was to Hard Rock, right?) was fantastic.
Nice new site, lady.
