I have flowers! My bulbs have decided ‘second week of February’ qualifies as ‘early spring’ and I have my very first crocus and hyacinth. Its very possible my neighbors heard me shout “Hello!” to my new flowers. I was very excited to see them. I welcomed them to the neighborhood and reassured them that its okay to be an early bloomer. Hopefully their respective family will be joining them soon.

And just to show, my pansies are also doing extremely well. However, I’m not sure if I’ll need to pull them out, I’m worried they might get in the way of my bulbs. I really didnt think they’d live this long. Guess I underestimated my green thumb.

One thing I’m not too excited about, is the recent addition of a “Dead End” sign on our front lawn. Its juuust on the edge of our property line. And normally I wouldnt care, cause its outside, and I’m not, but its way ugly and they didnt even bother to clean it. I might have been okay with a new shiney sign, but not one that looks like it was pulled out of a dumpster. And what I really dont understand, is that intersection ahead is NOT a deadend, you can take a right and circle around the division and come right back out the way you came. Stupid sign people and their stupid signs.

I would totally go out with my step ladder and clean the sign. Or you could just remove it!
