Just so you know how not interesting my life has been lately… the highlight of my day yesterday was poo. Yes, for six whole days, I’ve been waiting anxiously for Cooper to poo. I’m not even a mom yet, and I exclaimed “oh thank God!” at the sight of poo. And it doesnt even end there… I took the time to examine the poo, and upon finding a curl of elastic string embedded in said poo, I let out another exclamation. This is my life, people.
As many of you know, my sweet Cooper, who can now be referred to as The Great Pooper, loves to eat various types of string. Thankfully, this seems to only happen once a year. But when it does, it can be very scary. Especially since the first time it happened (Christmas Ribbon ‘04) required an endoscopy and held the threat of surgery. Yep.
Like I said, highlight of my day.

BRIN! you sound awful, in the posts below. are you feeling better now? it’s your birthweek! or something. And really, did you pass your sickness on to me? what does a person do for laryngitis? Didn’t you have the croup or something? Maybe i dreamt it. this is the most random comment ever. in any case happy birthday.
and yay for cooper the pooper.

No photograph of the poo? I expected more! As I was emptying Mr Sophie’s litter box the other day I noticed some hot pink poos! At first I was scared he was ill but then I realized it was the same hot pink as Mamie’s feather boa!

Haha. I’m not even going to ask why Mamie has a hot pink feather boa….
