I had a most lovely weekend. Helped coordinate a lovely Karaoke party for some of my favorite people (which included a riveting rendition of Ice Ice Baby by yours truly), helped set up the Rooms of Hope room (which included a 3 hour tour of Durham in an attempt to find white bunk beds) and enjoyed being showered with love, gifts and good food for being a mom.
AJ (with the help of his dad) got me lovely tulips, a sweet card, a Mother’s Day appointment for a pedicure (and my toesies look mighty fine now), dinner waiting when I returned home, 3 different dessert options, and a special Mother’s Day Bagelday breakfast before church.
Saturday night we took my mom out to O’Charley’s for dinner and she gave me money for a pedicure (do my toes look that bad?
). I’ll be saving that for a few weeks from now, nice to have one lined up.
All in all, it was a great weekend! Good busy, good food and good family.

I chose house cleaning over a new purse and a pedicure for mothers day. Now I almost wish I hadn’t. Pedicures are so addictive. Come to think of it, so are coach purses.
