I’m standing at the deli counter at Kroger, waiting for the woman behind the counter to slice up some balogna for me.
As any good cold cut slicing person should do, she asked “Is this thin enough?”
I said “yes, thank you.”
“A little thinner?”
“No, that’s fine.”
“A little thinner?”
“No, that looked great.”
“A little thinner?”
“Sure.”
What does that say about me?

what on earth?!?!? what part of “that’s fine” do they not understand? perhaps you have to yell it and snatch the meat out of their hand next time.
p.s. I SO LOVE THE BIRD & THE BEE!!!! I mean I am obsessed. I listen to it every, single, day. seriously.
