So, to catch you up on the past 4 months.
Though the busyness of my job has kept me from things like blogging, its pretty exciting to have my first real job. My days are full, and challenging, and interactive. Some parts are rewarding, some are frustrating. I really enjoy the people I work with and finally feel like I’ve settled in. There are still some times when I wish I had my boring pointless easy job, but lately I feel more capable than not. Oh, and did I mention the MacBookPro? Yeah.
AJ turned 2 (in November). During his birthweek we flew down to Florida, so we got to celebrate with family down there too. It had been a year since AJ got to see his grandparents (so he didnt remember them much). He and my dad hit it off immediately, bonding over drumming with the Blue Man Group. My dad has a drum set, so AJ got to sit in front of his first real set of drums and play. It wont be long before those drums make their way into my home, I’m sure.
Christmas and New Years were pretty quiet, which is how I wanted them. It marks the first year in many that I didnt baked Christmas cookies with my friend Christine and I didnt host a New Years Eve party. I slept instead. That says many things about my life right now.
Most of you know, but things with newhope are crazy (and exciting). We’ve got about 30 days till grand opening week and an unbelievable amount of things to do. I’m trying to just let it happen and go with the flow, cause if not, my head gets way too crazy with all the unknowns and I border hyperventilating. And I’m not even all that involved… oy.
Somehow, I’ve managed to watch some TV. There are still several series that I havent even started this season, but I’m also caught up on a few. And though it shouldnt be surprising, they totally cancelled my favorite, Pushing Daisies. So, from here on out, I am no longer declaring a favorite show. In fact, I really really HATE How I Met Your Mother right now. That Barney Stinson (wait for it)… sucks.

Hi Sabrina,
I don’t know if you remember me, but I started reading your blog when we were just starting to plan for our adoption from Korea. I asked you a lot of somewhat panicky questions and you put my mind at ease. I just wanted to say thanks again. We are now about 5 months into our wait. We’re getting there! I recently thought of you because another girl I just met online was asking a question about your agency, so I referred her to your blog. Hopefully, she contacts you. Glad to see that you and AJ and your DH are doing well. Please blog more! I miss reading your writings.

BTW, Pushing Daisies was my favorite too and I’m so MAD that it’s off the air. What is wrong with these network execs? Seriously!
