Material Girl
I totally wasnt planning to go the fancy name brand route with baby products. Though I’m a big fan of Italians in general, I had no reason to buy their expensive products. In fact, when I saw my cousin pushing a Peg Perego stroller (a few years back), I secretly scowled at the fact that she spent twice as much money for just the name.
And then I started doing some research. And though I’d still be confortable pushing a Graco Quattro, I became most interested in the Peg Perego Pliko P3 and the Inglesina Zippy. Once I realized that the Peg Perego had a A rating in my Baby Bargins book, I decided to put it on my list.
But a new one is still more than I can afford. So, I found a used one, on Craigslist. And I’m picking it up tomorrow. I went with a lovely neutral black and silver. I will definitely give a full on review once I have a chance to use it (hint hint, phones).
This is my first baby related purchase in months. In the beginning, I was shopping like crazy. But when things slowed down, I was too depressed. Now that I’m living by “any day now!” its time for more shopping.
Next on the list, a Britax Marathon carseat, a pack n play and a crib!
