I'm not trying to be disagreeable, but I have to say I'm pretty thankful that we don't license or disallow procreation based on intelligence. I know plenty of people who wouldn't want to be judged on their parents' merit and turned out just fine in spite of the stupid of their families. You know what I mean?

I think the same things when I think about what you and my other friend Lisa are going through to adopt children. you, capable, healthy, normal, loving, ready and willing parents, have to jump through 80 billion hoops and dance on your tiptoes, praying you don't say one wrong thing to turn people away from giving you a child. and yet these imbuciles can have a kid whenever they want. it's just wrong.

I keep hoping the stupid people of the world will not be able to figure out procreation. But, everyday I meet someone new whose parents figured it out somehow.
