Smile Like You Mean It
I’m still waiting on my photographers to get me the pictures from the Baby Party. So, before I recap the event, let me talk about something else.
My friend Emily came down for the shower, and brought her almost 8 month old Evan. I’ve met Evan once before, when he was 2 or 3 months old. He cried a lot then, and a lot less this time around. I was thankful for that. It was kind of weird, this being the first time a baby spent the night at our house, to think that in a month or so, we’d have a baby forever.
One thing I loved about Evan was how his face lit up, in a big happy smile, whenever Emily entered the room. Man how I want that. I cant wait for the day that AJ recognizes me in such a way that he smiles like that.
