Hurry Up!
Today, I’m all about adoption. But lately, its been off and on. On some days, I still think I’m out of my mind. I consider taking “the easy way out” and getting pregnant. It worries me, because normally I’m pretty committed to a decision I make. I’m rarely wishy washy about something. To be so back and forth about this really makes me wonder.
But today? Today I want my little Korean baby now. Right now.
I stumbled across www.adoptkorea.com and got to read some great stories of babies coming home to their families. It made me very excited. The site has a lot of helpful information, and I learned that Northwest Airlines has a “special delivery” airfare discount. Set up specifically for adoptive parents, who often get their travel date so last minute, it can make traveling across the continent outrageous. They offer discounts of 65% off their flights. And considering that a flight to Korea is about $1500 per person, I’ll take that discount. The great part is you can sign up for it, and then just let them know when you need to travel. And there’s not extra fees if that date changes. Go Northwest!
I should have blogged about this earlier. Not too long ago we got our first CAS newsletter. Amongst other country updates, Korea’s said that referrals are arriving in less than a month. A month! Thats crazy! And exciting!
Excited today, who knows what tomorrow.
