Like A Llama Or An Emu

The unfortunate part of AJ’s birthday being in November is that after Christmas, there’s no reason for him to receive a gift for another 11 months. Right now, I have a running list in my head of things AJ would really like. But, I certainly cant afford them all.
I figured I’d share them anyway…

Anywhere Chair (green) – I think he would really enjoy his own chair.

Table & Chairs

Fancy Cool Table & Chair – isnt it neat?

Tunnel

Whisper Ride Buggy – A friend has this and he seemed to enjoy it… I think its a great concept, cause he’s not ready to make himself go

Learning Pots and Pans – He would probably still rather play with mine…

Bath Stacking Cups – AJ has plenty of squirty toys and foam letters for the bath, but what he likes most is playing with bowls and spoons in the tub. Old cool whip containers and measuring spoons do the trick, but I’m sure he wouldnt mind these either.

Bath Tadoodles

AquaDoodle

Lion Flashlight – There are a few animals, but I think it would be most fun to roar whenever he opens his mouth.

Tops

Beach Toys – We’re spending a week at the beach at the end of the summer.

I hear you on the whole present thing. Evan’s birthday is 3 months before Christmas and then the rest of the year is wide open. There are 2 big consignment sales in the area that each have sales 2 times a year. In April, I went to one and got some good deals on things like an aqua doodle for $3. In the past year, I have found other good toys for almost nothing (as well as clothes) so I have decided that consignment sales or yard sales are the way to go. Sometimes kids toys can be worn out but usually it seems that the kids outgrow them before the toy wears out. It’s great b/c I have been able to get several things for Evan for the same price as a new toy at Target or Toys R Us.
