You’re finally blogging again! Yay! Ok, I know you’re probably really busy being a mom to blog. Lucky girl! Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that we’ve been HSTK now for almost 3 months and are working on our I600A form, so things are definitely moving along. Thanks again for all your past help.

Tell me all about switching him to a big boy bed. We are in the same process with Evan. He is just too big to continue on in the crib. He has stopped sleeping through the night b/c he gets an arm stuck in the slats or bumps his head.

The Social Security Office is l-a-m-e, LAME! Been there once. And I arrived an HOUR beforehand and it still took 15-20 minutes to be seen. Incredible. I wish you the BEST of luck figuring all this out.

We’ve never met, but I’ve been following your blog. I really enjoy hearing more about AJ. He is so adorable! My husband and I will be adopting our own litle Korean boy in a year or two, and it’s so hard to wait, especially after seeing pictures of AJ. I’m learning a lot about parenting through your blog and hopefully I’ll remember all that advice once our boy arrives! Thanks for sharing!

I hear you on the whole present thing. Evan’s birthday is 3 months before Christmas and then the rest of the year is wide open. There are 2 big consignment sales in the area that each have sales 2 times a year. In April, I went to one and got some good deals on things like an aqua doodle for $3. In the past year, I have found other good toys for almost nothing (as well as clothes) so I have decided that consignment sales or yard sales are the way to go. Sometimes kids toys can be worn out but usually it seems that the kids outgrow them before the toy wears out. It’s great b/c I have been able to get several things for Evan for the same price as a new toy at Target or Toys R Us.

Hi Sabrina! I don’t know if you remember me, but I was the one who wrote to you with questions about Korean adoption.

I linked to your flickr site from here and AJ is just the cutest baby on earth. I love the scenes where he’s playing Rock Band. I just forwarded them to my husband. We are Guitar Hero fanatics. I also really liked seeing your pictures from your trip to Korea! I can’t wait to go. It seems so beautiful!

Things are going well with our plans. We are now RSVP’d for an informational meeting in less than 6 weeks with Holt. We’re so excited! As long as we’re both happy with their presentation (which I’m sure we will be), we’re going to start the application process right away.
